Chasing the Sunset

Finally figured out how to place stuff on the page. Took me a while but I got there. Went out for a drive today with the camera and took some pics around the Memus and Fern areas of Angus. Had to do a bit of sunset chasing in order to get some of the shots. But the light and cloud formations were lovely today.

Took some photos in Forfar today. Thought I'd better get a shot of Woolworths before the lights went out. The other one is of the glorious Ironmongers David Irons. I really wanted a close up of the window as well but my battery ran out on my camera. Ho hum. Its a fantastic shop though. Inside it still has an almost Victorian feel to it, with wide solid wood staircases and upstairs there are big rooms filled with china and lamps and just about everything you could think of. Wonderful shop.

Starting to get the hang of this I think. Customising and moving things around, I still need to get to grips with, but I'm getting there. Not sure what direction this is taking, just trying to put some stuff that interests me and see where it goes from there.

Ok, so I've made a start, I've listed a few faves and things but I need to get a tad more technical next and figure out how to do links and videos and things. This may take some time!!!

Welcome to the first post on my first blog. I really don't have much of a clue what I'm doing here, but I guess I'll learn as I chug along. I was inspired to do this after viewing the blog of a friend who lives in North Carolina USA. I found his blog quite fascinating and thought I'd have a go and see if perhaps someone may find mine even just mildly interesting!
