Most cross-cultural linguisticky stuff can sort of make sense but I've found that words that describe 'kicking off your shoes, rolling up your jeans and getting your feet wet in a body of water' vary more than any others I've come across.

To me paddle, to paddle, involves a paddle whether that's ping-pong, canoeing, kayaking or some kind of kinky sex practices. It does make one wonder what Neil was doing down at Carnoustie beach! ;-Pms toast burnerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01814575117201965403noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6097513846217346447.post-22813794950885023272009-07-01T09:25:26.032+01:002009-07-01T09:25:26.032+01:00Beautiful blues, deep enough to sink into.

I think it's one of those words that is similar enough but different enough as well. Like 'wade.'ms toast burnerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01814575117201965403noreply@blogger.com
