Sunny Balgavies

For once I was actually early driving to work this morning. Doesn't happen very often. It was such a beautiful day that I stopped at Balgavies Loch for a moment of tranquility. I could have happily spent all morning just looking out at the loch and watching the wildlife go about its business.
I posted pics of the same view during February, titled Snowy Balgavies. The contrast is interesting.
I think it must have been the hottest day of the year so far. 29 degrees on the way home this evening. Might wear my shorts to work tomorrow!

  1. That first shot looks like it could have been taken in Virginia, so lush and green!

  2. You are a strong person to be able to stop on the way TO work and see a view like this and not stay there all day. I would never be able to trust myself.

  8. Picture postcard perfect! Very disciplined of you to have TIME to stop and look on your way to work - I could never afford to do that, always chasing my tail.
    Absolutely glorious scenes.
