Crombie Country Park

Winter refuses to give up her grip on the park. But the muted colours are still to be found everywhere...

The trunk of this small birch.....

The moss on this little bridge.....

Up close and personal....

...and I particularly like the contrast of these russety leaves with the green woodland floor.

  5. I like the contrast in leaves of your last photo too. The first photo, well I love the edge of ice along the water, lovely.

  8. I like these muted colors of winter. There was a splash of red, though, on the sign.

  10. I've just spent nearly half an hour looking at your photos, trying to decide which one I like best, but I can't decide. They are all beautiful I love birches in winter with their purple hue and also, like you, love the russet leaves of the beech, and by the way the drops of water on the twigs give it that extra magic.
