Now bearing in mind that I'm new to all this stuff, I just downloaded photofiltre and I've been messing about with it. Top pic is the original, which I posted awhile ago, no alterations, bottom one has been messed with. Can't make up my mind which one I prefer.
Not sure about this editing stuff. Always used to think a photo was done and dusted once you clicked the shutter. Am I being a Luddite or what?
I bet if photofiltre had a "delete moronic 4x4" button you wouldn't even be asking this question!
ReplyDelete...and beautiful photo. The red is groovy but I prefer the original.

ReplyDeleteHi Neil, your photos are great. I also like to play around with effects and I think the second one has a fun result but maybe I am a Luddite too as I love the original. However, that won't stop me from playing with my shots to see what I can come up with and I hope you will show more of your photographic effects as I do enjoy them. Thank you so much for visiting my blog. I have enjoyed yours and look forward to coming back. I apologise for deleting my previous comment. There were too many typos. It is 12.22 a.m. here and maybe I should have waited until the morning. Way too tired :)
ReplyDeleteI'm going back to real film with manual speed, apperture and focus controls just as soon as i'm back in Embra, Scotland cos digital does my head in. Film and processing will probs be pricey but i bet i can pick up a good 35mm slr for peanuts these days.
ReplyDeleteFilm aint quite so easy to upload ato a blog though so i won;t be chuckin the digi thing right out the window.
And hey, Ned Ludd wisnae all wrong. Was he?
Love the original photo as well as the effect you enhanced it with. Smiles B
ReplyDeleteNaldo - If we'd listened to Ned we mebbe wouldn't be in meltdown now eh? Ok we'd be knitting our own jumpers, but what the hell else is there to do on a Friday night?
