A wee taster of the Gairloch/Torridon area on the West coast of Scotland. More to come. I was over here for a week a couple of years ago and some of the scenery is lovely. The pics leave a bit to be desired, but it will give a taste of what's on offer.
The top pic shows the view as you reach the rise above Kinlochewe. Stunning.
The bottom one is a view from the Applecross road, voted by many as the most scenic road in the UK.

ReplyDeleteGreat shots Neil, quite spectacular in fact. I visited Scotland in the early 70's and am way overdue for a return visit. I remember the scenery being absolutely gorgeous. The Highlands are calling to me thanks to your wonderful photographs :)))

ReplyDeleteTorridon is a very special part of Scotland - i thoroughly recommend the walk up Beinn Eigh from Loch Maree. It's as good as it gets.
