It's official......today's the first day of Autumn apparently. Not my favourite season it has to be said. I find it hard getting too excited about a period of the year when everything seems to be dying. Dying leaves, dying flowers, dying light........
....and yes, I know that out of this death comes rebirth....blah, blah, blah.......
Do I sound a bit negative about Autumn?

ReplyDeleteLOL! had to laugh with your autumn mumbles :D thank goodness, we only have two seasons. The good thing with autumn, i think, is that you get to take stunning pictures with all those colors.

Your post made me smile...even though I am fond of autumn. I'm always glad to see the end of summer (OK, I am weird) because the weather here can be so oppressively humid. Having said that I must admit summer 2009 was to my liking - cooler than usual.
ReplyDeleteI like to think of fall as closing down of the old to make way for the new. Besides, I actually like winter, which is a good thing since I live in Canada. ;-)
